About Us
KFRONT DESIGNS, LLC was founded by Kari Frontera, AIA, IIDA, NCIDQ to provide design consulting services and photographs for print.
Architecture/Design: Kari has over 25 years experience in the design and construction industry. She is a licensed architect (NY) and interior designer (DC, VA) with experience in a wide variety of project types from workplace, fitness centers, stadiums, universities, retail, restaurants and government.
She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and obtained her LEED AP accreditation in Building Design and Construction.
Kari has extensive experience in design development, documentation and construction administration in commercial and government design. She is known as a ‘fixer’ and has been brought in many times to right a project that may have veered off the path to completion. Prior to forming KFRONT DESIGNS, Kari was a senior associate and technical director at Gensler and a Program Manager at the Federal Aviation Administration..
Kari holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis/Interior Design from Cornell University and a Master’s of Business from George Washington University.
Photography: Kari’s interest in photography began in high school where she learned the basics in composition and film development. She strives to capture the beauty that comes with the details in texture and the small moments in space and objects, both natural and man-made.
